Performance Arts Awards - Part of RSL

At ALPA, we recognise that it is great for young performers to have a focus and goal to work towards throughout their lessons.

Working towards examinations not only boosts morale, but encourages motivation, discipline and perseverance.

As a company, we work with the exam board RSL to provide Performance Arts Awards. These are Ofqual accredited, graded examinations for all our students, should they want to participate in these.

Performance Arts Awards (PAA) are graded examinations in Acting and Jazz Dance. PAA exams have been developed by industry specialists for learners of all levels to measure, assess and reward whilst encouraging innovation and creativity.

Each syllabus consists of working on practical performance, context and understanding and technical skills. The qualifications are industry relevant and provide each child with all the knowledge they require.
